Ben Seidman currently stars in Magic Outlaws: two TV specials airing on Travel Channel.
Seidman is the only person in history to be named the Resident Magician at Mandalay Bay, Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. His residency at Mandalay followed a three-season contract as creative consultant for Mindfreak on A&E, during which he designed the illusions performed by Criss Angel.
In 2013, Ben taught Johnny Knoxville magic tricks for his movie Bad Grandpa. Shortly after, Seidman completed a 20—city comedy tour presented by Just for Laughs.
Ben spent 3 months in Stockholm Sweden, performing and writing the TV show Helt Magiskt, for SVT (the largest channel in Sweden). Once back in America, Ben became the face of the Toshiba/Intel campaign “I Was Framed.” This hidden camera reality show, directed by Jamie Kennedy, featured Ben using his pick-pocketing skills to slip computers into people’s handbags without them knowing.
Seidman has headlined the Atlantis Resort & Casino in the Bahamas and performed one hundred and twenty shows at The Venetian in Macau China. Now based in Los Angles, he frequently performs at the famous Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach and the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Ben is a favorite performer on Princess and Celebrity cruises, and although he enjoys performing both “on land” and “at sea,” hopes to someday perform while flying through the air.
Seidman uses underground sleight-of-hand and psychological manipulation to pick-pockets, read minds, and suspend disbelief. His performances weave these amazing moments around stand up comedy and true stories about living in Las Vegas.
